Thermostats are temperature-controlling electronic components that regulate and maintain the temperature of a device. The thermostat is often used in homes, offices and similar places and therefore plays an important role in regulating the ambient temperature.

The thermostat usually contains a thermostatic switch and a thermistor (temperature sensor). There are several types of thermostats and these types have different features. For example, mechanical thermostats contain a thermostatic switch and a thermistor and are therefore manually adjusted to regulate the temperature of the device. Other types contain a control panel and a thermistor and are therefore adjusted from the control panel to adjust the temperature of the device.

Thermostat is used in various electronic devices. For example, thermostats in homes are used in heating and cooling systems and therefore regulate the temperature of homes. Also, in offices, the Thermostat is used in air conditioners and therefore regulates the temperature of the offices.
